In a move similar to cyber frauds, around 100 Crore Rupees in the GPF account of Andhra Pradesh Government employees have gone missing. The employee associations allege that this is the work of CSMF officials and finance department officials of the AP Government.
They suspect that this is an intentional diversion of funds to other schemes of the Government. AP Government Employees Association President Suryanarayana said that it is impossible to divert the funds without the involvement of the CFMS officials and there should be a probe into it.
Money has been drawn from the President’s account itself in February and October and he showed the proofs of the withdrawal to the media. “This is the case with 100s of employees in our association. In case, there is no proper explanation in 10 days, we will file a police case on the finance department officials,” he says.
Finance Department Principal Secretary SS Rawat says the issue has come to his notice and an inquiry will be initiated very soon.
