In the latest incident of violence against American Indians, a family of Patels was found shot in their driveway by the local police. Unfortunately, though they were rushed to the hospital immediately, Pinal Kumar Patel, 52, died in the shooting.
His wife and his child are in stable condition. They were shot in the driveway in the 300 block (Southlake, Frisco, Texas) of Thoroughbred Lane at around 11 pm according to Bibb County Sheriff’s office. The incident occurred when the Patels were returning home from work on that fateful night.
Three masked gunmen were at the spot and when Pinal Patel confronted them, they fired at the family and fled in a dark color vehicle where a fourth person was waiting. All four then fled the scene. Nothing was taken from the family.
The family was rushed to Atrium Health, where Pinal Patel died. The Bibb County’s office is seeking public support to help them catch the gang.
