TDP-TarakaratnaFilm actor Nandamuri Tarakaratna announced that he will contest the upcoming elections from Andhra Pradesh. On Sunday, he unveiled the statue of NTR in Palaparru of Pedanadipadu Mandal of Guntur district. Tarakaratna came there in a huge car rally from Hyderabad.

On this occasion, Tarakaratna addressed the meeting presided over by former minister Makineni Pedarattaiah. “If the state is to be prosperous, we should make Chandrababu the Chief Minister. I will go to the people and work hard to bring TDP to power,” he said.

“I will stay with Chandrababu Mavayya and fight for the people. During the election, brother Jr. NTR will come and participate in the campaign whenever he can. I don’t need any posts in the party because the party is ours,” he told. He reminded that NTR had brought property rights for women and abolished the Taluka system establishing the Mandal system.
