Tamil Superstar Dhanush is making his Telugu debut with a bilingual film, Sir releasing on February 17th. Sir is a thoughtful take on the flaws and exploitation in the current education system. The trailer has impressed with a perfect blend of emotions and commercial elements.
Samyuktha who was seen in hit films like Bheemla Nayak and Bimbisara is the female lead in Sir. The actress interacted with media ahead of the movie release and sounded so confident about the film.
“I was approached the film after I signed for Bheemla Nayak. Venky Atluri met me and narrated the story. I realized this a great film and I should not miss. I did a look test and I got finalised. I play a teacher in the film and did my home work to get my act right. I visited schools to see how the teachers look, dress and talk. People will definitely appreciate my character,” the actress said.
The actress is so excited about working with Dhanush. “It’s a really good experience working with him. Dhanush is very quick and fast. When I was stressed with dialogues in two languages, he gave me motivation and I became stress free. Dhanush is spontaneous. He is subtle performer and knows how to be optimal with the acting,” the actress excitedly said.
She also says Sir will definitely work with the audience due to its relatable theme. “The movie is a wholesome entertainer and will touch the audience with the issues of education and the reforms. The audience will connect with all the characters and scenes,” the actress told.
