Swapna Dutt Priyanka DuttSwapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt, daughters of Senior Producer Aswini Dutt have become synonym of passion and success in the Telugu film industry dominated by males and ridden by under 5% success rate. From Yevade Subrahmanyam, Mahanati, and to Sita Ramam, they left a mark on the audience. They are coming up with Santosh Sobhan’s Anni Manchi Sakunamule on May 18th.

“Anni Manchi Sakunamule is a fresh breeze story this Summer. It is like going to our grandmother’s house and spending holidays in Summer. The family audience will enjoy the film very much,” Swapna Dutt said. She also rubbished calling the film a small one. “No film is small or big. Project K is definitely a big one. We do not differentiate as small or big. Its all about how will love a script,” the producer said.

M9News has asked about their involvement in making a film. “We are like available on set daily. But we do not interfere. We will give them a confidence that we are available if they need us. Being on set daily will also help in taking quick decisions,” Priyanka Dutt says.

M9News also asks how their films often become over-budget. “That is something we should take care of. Maybe we start a project with a conservative budget and then, the potential is realized later. The thing is we will give his best for a film and make it an uncompromising experience for the audience. If we go into Budget calculations, we should stop making films and do real estate. In fact, real estate has more profits,” Swapna Dutt says.

Swapna Dutt adds, “We pick scripts that touches our hearts but the final decision is always with Dad. All of us involve in the casting. We also pitch in our inputs but at the end, we will give the director the liberty”.

They also did not sound worried about the current form of Santosh Sobhan. “He is a talented boy. All he needs is good planning. We think this film will be his breakthrough movie. When you watch the movie, you experience it yourself. You will have an emotion like a good memory and become teary-eyed when happiness comes. The climax will leave you feel good while walking out of the theaters,” they assured.
