‘Macherla Niyojakavargam’, starring Nithiin as a District Collector, N Siddharth Reddy and Samuthirakani as a political leader, is slated to be released in theatres on August 12. Its pre-release event was hosted by the makers with fanfare.
In his speech, Nithiin was effusive in thanking his fans and the audience at large for making his 20-year journey in films eventful. About his upcoming release, the talented actor said that the film is very close to his heart.
The star thanked the writing department, the Mahathi Swara Sagar-led music department (including lyricists), and other technicians. “My albums in Sagar’s combination have been successful all along. Sagar has surpassed even his father (Mani Sharma) in the background score department as far as ‘Macherla Niyojakavargam’ is concerned,” Nithiin said with confidence.
The film’s female lead was seen smiling as her co-star praised her. “Krithi Shetty looks innocent but she is very sharp. Her questions are smart. Very few heroines have such a quality,” Nithiin added.
Among the special elements, Nithiin wanted the audience to go expecting a lot from Vennela Kishore’s comedy track in the first half, the technical elements, and the action blocks (composed by Anl Arasu, Venkat, Ravi Varma, and Vijay), which he said are his career’s best fights. Dance choreographers Jani, Sekhar and Jithu also figured in Nithiin’s speech.
Director MS Rajashekhar Reddy, Nithiin said, has done it like a seasoned filmmaker. “My father and my sister have produced the movie and I thank them a lot today,” Nithiin said.
Director Surender Reddy endorsed the film’s action scenes, saying that he has watched one of them and was blown away by it. The ‘Agent’ director also lauded Nithiin and expressed his wish to wield the megaphone for his film in the future.
The event was also attended by many other guests, mainly Hanu Raghavapudi, Vakkantham Vamsi, Meher Ramesh, Chandoo Mondeti, and Merlapaka Gandhi.
