Chor Bazaar Is a Massy Entertaining Film: ArchanaSenior actress Archana is making a comeback to Telugu cinema after 25 long years with Chor Bazaar. She seemed excited about the film and here’s what she said.

“I am inclined towards art films. I have been acting in content driven Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam films all the while. But I wasn’t doing any in Telugu. When I heard Chor Bazaar core point, it felt right to do this film,” the actress said.

“I play a lady who is an ardent fan of Amitabh Bachchan in Chor Bazaar. My character is an independent one and the director Jeevan Reddy sculpted it with great panache. I usually don’t prefer wearing makeup but I had to do it for Chor Bazaar as the script demands it.”

Archana says Chor Bazaar is a mass film which offers entertainment, and commercial Color in abundance.

“I had to come out of my comfort zone to do this film and I am fully content with the same.”

Chor Bazaar has Akash Puri in the central role and it is up for release on the 24th of June. The film is directed by Jeevan Reddy of George Reddy fame.
