The film Zanzeer, remake of the 1973 starrer of the same name, marks the Boolywood debut of Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan who is taking on the role of none other than Vijay Khanna, originally played by legendary Amitabh Bachchan alongside other stars like stars Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Raj, Mahie Gill, Atul Kulkarni and Ankur Bhatia. While the striking actor embodies a police officer, costar Priyanka Chopra plays her hand at an urban chic. Sanjay Dutt, on the other hand takes on the iconic persona of Sher Khan, a role that is expected to leave everyone spellbound.
The recently released trailer has been very positively received with Ram Charan Teja looking very promising as ACP Vijay Khanna. Apoorva Lakhia’s trademark style seems to have done wonders for the film and the audience is eagerly anticipating the film’s release on September 6, 2013.
