The original version of Zanjeer became block buster hit but lead character played by Amithab neither sang nor danced. It was the impression that Ram Charan’s Zanjeer’s Hindi version would do the same but Telugu version will be different. Now the buzz is that Apoorva Lakhia who is directing the remake is working on a song sequence where Vijay (Ram Charan) will get to sing and shake his legs with Priyanka Chopra. Lakhia is still very adamant on moving away from it’s original flavor so the song number may be a dream sequence or comes in at the end as part of rolling titles like Rajamouli did for Eega and Magadheera. We will have to wait to find out if Telugu version offers Charan’s style dances and songs.
