Zanjeer team faces 6 Crore demand

The highly anticipated Zanzeer remake which is expected to hit the screens later this year has once again landed in a controversy. This latest wave of conflict seems to be coming from the writer of the original screenplay for Zanzeer, Salim Khan, who claims that he wasn’t properly recompensed for his part in the film.

Salim said that, “I have demanded Rs.6 crore as compensation, since as writers of the film we had the rights over the script. They are using our script and did not negotiate or felt like talking to us before going ahead with the making of the film.” He further added, “We had given blessings to make the film but not the permission.”

Khan who has taken up the case with the scriptwriters association demanded Rs three crore for Hindi release and Rs three crore for release ofthe Telugu version.
