Prime Minister Narendra Modi felicitated former Speaker Sumitra Mahajan at a gala dinner he hosted as an outreach to members of Parliament on Thursday. MPs from all parties attended the dinner while those belonging to Left and TMC stayed away. The PM is seen sharing share light-hearted moments with MPs of Various Parties in informal interaction.
Interestingly, TDP Rajya Sabha MPs – CM Ramesh and Sujana Chowdary who defected to BJP earlier in the day were seen sharing table with Vijaya Sai Reddy, the Rajya Sabha MP and YSR Congress’ National General Secretary. A picture of them sitting together is doing rounds in the social media.
Only a day before that, a video is out on Social Media in which the Prime Minister is calling Vijaya Sai Reddy affectionately as ‘Vijaya Garu’ in Parliament lobbies. Connecting the dots, people are assuming this as a joint operation to eliminate Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu is currently holidaying abroad with his family when the crisis struck the Telugu Desam Party.
