Hrithik Roshan is making a huge comeback after 3 years with the remake of the cult Tamil thriller Vikram Vedha. The trailer of the film was released the other day, and the response from the audience has been satisfactory overall.
The film is directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, who directed the original as well. Hrithik’s swag as the Bihari gangster is impressive. Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, and others also leave a mark. The BGM is quite good. Dialogues were so-so.
One thing that was noticed by some netizens is that YouTube is giving a buy or rent option for the original Tamil Vikram Vedha on the Hindi Vikram Vedha trailer page. People are calling it smart planning by YouTube to increase the patronage of the Tamil version and also earn some revenue for the platform.
However, this strategy might harm the prospects of the Hindi version as some people, who still haven’t watched the original, might get tempted to buy or rent the Tamil version and then later skip watching the Hindi Vikram Vedha.
Vikram Vedha is all set to storm the screens on 30th September, and the trade is expecting a flyer in terms of opening due to Hrithik’s craze among the youth and masses.
