First things first. Like Bollywood for Hindi movies, we have Tollywood for Telugu movies. However even Bengali Film Industry is also known by the name Tollywood. A young Tollywood (Bengali) actor by name Ronnie Chakraborthy was found dead in a pond on Friday night.
Ronnie was a popular anchor and TV artist who did many popular Bangla telly programmes. It came as a surprise that Ronnie was found drowned in a pond and brought dead to the hospital when he happened to be a good swimmer. He was accompanied by two friends when he went to the pond to take a dip in the waters.
While there are many questions on his death, the most heart-touching thing about him is his 6-month old daughter whose ‘annaprasana’ (first time rice intake ceremony) was scheduled for this Friday. Tollywood is shocked on his untimely death and hoping big way that the mystery surrounding his death unfolds very soon.
