Actor Vishal is into everything regarding the Tamil Film Industry as he is playing a crucial role in two of the influential organizations in Kollywood aka ‘Nadigar Sangam’ and Producers’ Council. He is actively fighting against piracy menace and playing an important role in the industry.
Besides this, he is very enthusiastic about the newest ways and trends in the industry. Coming to the new releases, he is curious about the growing culture of the test reviews. He showed this Friday’s release ‘Thupparivaalan’ to a set of select audiences, took feedback from them and decreased the runtime of the movie by 2 minutes.
He is very clear on the growing trend of Youtube reviews after web reviews. But, he thinks it is copy right infringement to use the poster of a film for the background of the review, without the producer’s consent.
Expressing opinions in the name of reviews is okay but using the posters isn’t okay as per Vishal’s explanation. According to him, if anyone wants to kill a film through a review, they can go for it. If we read beyond the lines, it means a lot.
