Coming to the topic, Kiran Abbavaram, in conversation with Sai Kumar, who plays an important role in the film, implied that SR Kalyanamandapam will have Balakrishna reference in abundance.

“When my father first bought a TV, we used to have only CDs of films like Narasimha Naidu, Samarasimha Reddy, and others. My father is a big fan of Balakrishna,” he said.

Incidentally, in the recently released trailer of SR Kalyanamandapam, we can see a poster of Balakrishna’s Samarasimha Reddy in the protagonist’s entry shot. In his interaction with Sai Kumar, Kiran revealed that the opening scene in the film will also have Balakrishna reference.

Balakrishna is one of the most loved and followed heroes in Rayalaseema region. As for SR Kalyanamandapam, the film is set in Rayalaseema backdrop. Going by Kiran’s comments, there a fair share of Balakrishna reference in the film. Well, it is evident that the young actor is saying Jai Balayya just ahead of the big day – his film’s release. He seems to be luring Nandamuri fans to come watch his film in theatres.
