Simbu (Silambarasan) Drops out of Kamal Haasan's Film Indian 2The young Tamil hero Silambarasan aka Simbu is making a comeback with a vengeance. In the recent past, we have had two first looks of his upcoming movies, and they have generated enough curiosity to keep the actor afloat.

Simbu came with a lot of promise and scored a big success in Telugu more than a decade and a half ago. However, over the last decade, it was a lost cause, as he was in the news more for his off-screen antics rather than the films. And this is despite him being part of some right combinations. He has worked with Gautham Menon (twice) and also Mani Ratnam.

Finally, Simbu seems to have realised the long list of mistakes and is working hard to bounce back. For starters, he has entirely reshaped his physique. Simbu is no longer the bloated personality that he has been since a few years ago.

On the movie front, Simbu is coming up with two diverse roles with his upcoming films. The first one is Eeswaran and the second is Maanaadu. The parts of these two films are as different as they can get. The first look posters of Simbu’s Maanaadu were out today, and many couldn’t recognise him. It is that different compared to his previous bloated self.
