Recently released Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone movie ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ which turned out to be extremely successful at the box office has managed to break all records and crossed the 100 crore mark. Immense trade was expected by mostly everyone but this huge amount of collection in just a week could never have been guessed. The filmmakers and trade analysts knew that the collections would go so high but never could have predicted it to happen so soon.
It is the first movie to ever cross the mark within a week and it broke all of Ranbir’s previous records. Debutant director Ayan Mukerji excitedly tweeted on the micro-blogging site Twitter, “100 crores, and still counting.” Producer Karan Johar also tweeted, “When love scores a century…..you know it’s the only emotion to bank on….pun intended.”
