The Delhi gangrape case had took India by storm with its show of brute violence and heinous act of inhumanity. But few years down the line, it seems that there is no change brought in the country. Case in point is the report of an 18 year old girl raped inside a moving bus in Bengaluru when she was alone in the bus.
Reports say that Ravi, a mini bus driver had given lift to the girl who is a nurse. According to the police, Ravi belongs to Hoskote town in Bengaluru’s eastern outskirts. The police said that the accused was also accompanied by the cleaner. In the middle of the bus ride, Ravi had asked the cleaner Manjunath to take control of the steering wheel and then proceeded to rape the girl.
Police say that they have arrested the accused and a case has been registered under IPC’s section 376 against the two men at Sulibel Police Station.
