Though many deny it, cinema does have a heavy influence on the youth of this country. One such example has happened once again and this time the culprit is Yash’s KGF2.
KGF2 has become a solid hit and in many scenes, Yash was seen smoking a cigarette in a super stylish manner. Inspired heavily by this, a fifteen year old boy from Rajendranagar, Hyderabad smoked lot of cigarettes in minutes to emulate Yash and his style.
Sadly, the young kid started facing breathing issues and fell ill suddenly. The parents reacted quickly and admitted the him in a corporate hospital in Hyderabad where tests revealed that the he fell ill due to heavy smoking.
The boy is getting treated at the hospital and has been given counseling. This news has spread widely and parents of many kids have started a discussion that smoking scenes should be banned on screen. Of late, the voilence on screen has gone high and in the curiosity to make reels, videos and online shorts, the youth is getting spoilt heavily.
But there are also films which inspire the youth. So, how much damage these films are doing is a never ending discussion. But it is up to the youth to take in what is good and leave out what is bad.
