There is a kind of experimental film ‘Girmit’ coming from Sandalwood that will be having a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi including Kannada, of course. For the Telugu and Hindi versions, the title will be ‘Pakka Mass’, whereas it would be ‘Podi Mass’ for Tamil and Malayalam versions.
The beauty of the film is that children will be playing all the characters in the movie but the dubbing voice will be given by well-known stars. ‘KGF‘ star Yash and his wife Radhika Pandit will be lending voices for the lead characters in ‘Girmit’. Though children will be seen playing the lead roles, the characters they play are adults. So, child actors in adult roles, is the difference, here.
If Yash and Radhika are going to dub for the Kannada versions, who would be doing it for the Telugu and other language versions? Well, that’s unknown yet, and we have got to wait and see if the makers of ‘Girmit’ try to get on board popular voices for the other versions, as well. This movie is directed by Ravi Basrur who is also a music composer.
