Wrong Assessment Of RRR & KGF 2 Hindi SuccessThe monumental success of RRR and KGF Chapter 2 in Hindi has made the South Indian cinema proud, and these two films have dethroned many Bollywood blockbusters and emerged as the top films of India.

Social media is a strange place where people try to push forward their propaganda in ways that can be weird and illogical many times. Stars like NTR, Ram Charan, and Yash are staunch supporters of Hinduism, and they have always flaunted the Hindu tradition and culture.

Some netizens are claiming that the success of movies like Pushpa, RRR, and KGF 2 is because the lead actors of these films are Hindus who proudly flaunt their religion. Unlike Bollywood stars who claim to be secular, South stars are unapologetic about their Hindu religion, which is not true.

The downfall of Bollywood started because the makers started to ignore the taste of the masses and made films with elite content (romcoms, taboo or LGBTQ content films, remakes), which had no connectivity to the audience that craves proper masala big-screen entertainment. In contrast, makers like SS Rajamouli, Sukumar, and Prashanth Neel captured the imaginations of the masses and gave them films that were worth the value of the ticket price.

South Superstars also worked their hard way out to cater to the movie-going audience and delivered seetimaar, taali maar movies which gave the audience an adrenaline rush.

NTR, Ram Chara, Yash, or Allu Arjun… they respect all other religions as well, and their fan base consists of people from different religions. So the assessment of some dolts that the success of the above-mentioned films is due to the Hindu factor is nothing but pure propaganda.

Content was and is always the King!
