Naga Chaitanya’s Thank You was out, and it is competing with the disaster Acharya. The film is well shot with decent performances and direction, but the film is being panned for the routine story and uninteresting narration.
Director Vikram Kumar has always made films with his own story. For the first time, he worked on ‘Thank You,’ which had a story written by someone else, BVS Ravi.
BVS Ravi has provided the story for many films in the past like Jawaan, Devudu Chesina Manushulu, Saleem, Iddarammayilatho, and Dynamite. Most of these films were flops at the box office. And it looks like Thank You will also join the list.
Many are criticizing Thank You’s story as an updated version of Ravi Teja’s Autograph and a couple of other films which failed to create a minimum buzz. Many are wondering what made a senior like Dil Raju approve such a bland story.
