Mani Ratnam is a legendary director but he is in the firing lane today thanks to his dream project Ponniyin Selvan. The mega budget period drama is being made in two parts and is done with its shoot.
Today, the makers revealed the release date of the first part which is September 30th. A few posters of this prestigious project were also revealed leaving the fans in a furious mood.
The makers revealed four posters of Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, and Karthi who play key roles. Not one poster makes sense and the fans are quite upset and are spitting venom on Mani Ratnam.
The posters have not been designed properly and the shabbiest of all is Vikram‘s, where he is seen bending down for the sword. The posters of Jayam Ravi and Karthi also look like the extended copied versions of Baahubali and other big historical films.
Icing on the cake is the poster of Aishwarya which looks weird. Ash’s face is filled with plastic and she looks fake. Looks like the makers have morphed the posters and just attached the stars’ faces.
Fans and Mani Ratnam’s amdiers are very upset as the posters of one of the biggest film from Tamil cinema is being announced in a such a silly and stupid manner disappointing many. This negative feedback would have surely reached Mani Ratnam and we need to see what he will do to fix it.
