Will Vijay Deverakonda's Weak Film Dear Comrade Surprise? After three blockbusters ‘Pelli Choopulu’, ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Geetha Govindam’, everything seemed to be a cakewalk for Vijay Deverakonda as he is seen as a potential star hero in the making. ‘NOTA’ was released a week back and the trade didn’t expect big but at least speculated that it would end up as an average movie in the worst case. However, it bombed big time.

Vijay D’s next movie ‘Dear Comrade’ is coming from a new director but looking at the things, it has good potential to click as it is coming from a reputed banner, Mythri Movie Makers . The ‘Arjun Reddy’ star also has another film with unconventional director Kranthi Madhav who did sensible films like ‘Onamalu’ and ‘Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju’ but his last release ‘Ungarala Ram Babu’ was a flop.

When we look at Vijay and Kranthi Madhav individually, both are poles apart. It would definitely be interesting to see how a director like Kranthi Madhav handles an energetic hero like Vijay Deverakonda. When a film like ‘NOTA’ that was expected to at least turn out to be an average movie bombed big time, will Kranthi Madhav’s movie throw a surprise to the audiences? This project is seen as a weak one.

But, it’s too early to tag it as a weak movie as one never knows when a director like Kranthi Madhav can throw big surprises. Maybe, it would be refreshing to see Deverakonda in a different movie with a director who has different sensibilities! Let’s wait.
