Will Tuck Jagadish And Maestro Break This Trend On OTT?Thanks to the pandemic, many films across the country have skipped their theatrical released and ended on OTT. Only a few films from Tollywood have taken the route. But then, there are hardly any films which released on OTT and ended up getting good talk and reviews.

There are a few hits in smaller films (like Color Photo and MCA in Telugu) but there has been a feeling that big filmmakers opt for OTT release only if they are not confident of their film success. In Kollywood, Suriya’s Aakasam Nee Haddura is the only exception.

September will see two films – Nani‘s Tuck Jagadish and Nithiin‘s Maestro take the Direct-to-OTT route. It has to be seen if these films can emerge as hits and prove the notion of big films opting for OTT only when the makers are in doubt about their content.

Tuck Jagadish will release on Amazon Prime Video on September 10th as Vinayaka Chaviti Special while Maestro is announced for September 17th release on Disney + Hotstar.
