RGV is known for coming up with film titles that pique the curiosity of the audience as well as critics. After titles like Company, D and Sarkar, RGV’s next Telugu outing with Mohan Babu is said to be titled Rowdy. Apparently, the makers were toying with names such as Ottu, Annagaru and Seemalekka, but it looks like they have settled with Rowdy as title.
The film is said to be against the backdrop of factionism in Rayalaseema. Will this film be another RakhtCharitra going by how Ramu has been promoting his films in the past. It will be interesting to see how Ramu will use Mohan Babu in the film as the latter is known for only normal character roles. Let’s see if this combination will click or turn out to be damp squib.
Vishnu will playing Mohan Babu’s son in the film, while Jayasudha will be seen in an important role. Apparently, Ramu has completed shooting the film with Mohan Babu and is slated to work with Vishnu and Jayasudha soon. He is planning to wrap up the film by February.
