The political climate in Andhra Pradesh has already postponed the release of films such as Yevadu and Attarintiki Daaredhi, and now it looks Junior NTR’s Ramayya Vasthavayya (RV) is likely to join the list too. This was after NTR’s father Hari Krishna recently resigned.
It is being speculated that RV has pushed for a Sankranthi release as the makers believe that by then the situation in the state would have cooled down. The reason the film is likely to be postponed comes after students from Osmania University JAC threatened to not allow the release of any films of NTR in Telangana.
With the ongoing political scenario in AP, most big films are finding it difficult to have a peaceful release because most of these big actors belong to a family that is in turn part of a political party.
