Ram CharanLast year Ram Charan produced a film, Godfather, with his father, Chiranjeevi as the leading hero. Despite decent content, the film failed to break even. This year Chiranjeevi delivered a blockbuster film, Waltair Veerayya, during the Sankranthi season. The film was heavily criticized for its cringe content, but still, it did very well as it got the advantage of the festival season.

Godfather also had a cameo by Salman Khan. It is said that Salman worked for free because of the love and friendship he has with Chiranjeevi’s family. But his special appearance didn’t help much; actually, it turned out to be one of the things about Godfather that got brutally trolled and pulled down its overall appeal.

Now Ram Charan has made a cameo appearance in Salman Khan’s upcoming film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, in the song Yentamma. The song was released yesterday, and Charan appears to shake his leg in lungi along with Salman and Venkatesh. The song is getting an encouraging response from the audience, though Salman’s dance again became somewhat troll material.

Ram Charan did this film as a return favor for what Salman did for Godfather. He also allowed Salman and his team to shoot the song on the sets of Acharya.

Salman’s favor didn’t help Godfather, and we will have to see if Charan’s return flavor will turn out to be positive for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which is a remake of the Tamil film Veeram.
