Allu Arjun‘s Pushpa: The Rise got off to a good start at the USA box office as it minted over a million dollars from the premieres and day 1, despite several premiere shows getting canceled due to delay in content delivery. But the film slowed down on the weekdays and the total tally now stands at $1.9 million.
The breakeven target for Pushpa: The Rise in the USA is $2.7 million. Given the current trend, the best possible result for the film is just about breaching the breakeven mark and this is not an encouraging sign.
Even to attain the breakeven status, Pushpa: The Rise will have to collect another $800K. The buyers are now hoping that the Christmas holiday season will help the cause.
The trade hoped that Pushpa: The Rise will be the film that will rejuvenate the USA market. But that isn’t quite happening yet.
