One of the unsung heroes or less recognized heroes of Akkineni family multistarer, Manam is Anup Rubens. People have been singing praises of the Akkineni family and director Vikram Kumar but Anup Rubens is no less to them. He is scoring music for the first time for a star project. And the project took place at the time, when he was shown door from NTR’s Rabhasa for the reason, he may not be able to handle a star.
But Anup put his heart and soul in to Manam. The album of the film is one of the most refreshing in recent times and the back ground score is a real asset to the movie. Incidentally, Anup’s success coincides with the failure of Rabhasa first look teaser. It was said that NTR did not like the music rendered to the teaser by Thaman and reportedly expressed his displeasure. Will NTR regret missing Anup Rubens? Only time will answer!
