The second wave of Coronavirus is currently scaring Tollywood. There’s speculation that theatres will go back to 50% occupancy, and there’s also speculation that night curfews will be introduced in the Telugu states as well, like many states in the North.
Natural Star Nani’s Tuck Jagadish is gearing up for release on April 23rd, and there’s still no clarity over whether the film will stick to its release date or if it will get postponed. The trailer launch is to take place on the day of Ugadi, and there’s no clarity over that either. Clarity over the film’s release is expected to come by Ugadi though. If the Ugadi event takes place on that day, then the film will release as expected, otherwise, the film might get postponed.
Sources say that the makers of Tuck Jagadish are planning to release the film on April 23rd, if there are no further complications, as postponing the film would result in a very long delay. It is being said that the makers may opt for an advance release on OTT, and go ahead with releasing the film in theatres on April 23rd.
It is now to be seen if Tuck Jagadish will stick to its date, or if it will get postponed, due to the second wave of Coronavirus.
