Because of the untimely demise of Superstar Krishna, the shoot of Mahesh Babu’s SSMB28 might get further delayed. The film has completed one schedule where some action episodes were shot. Then, because of reasons unknown, there were some delays. And then Mahesh babu’s mother expired and now his dad also passed away which has put the project in limbo.
Inside reports suggest that Mahesh Babu is in a state of trauma right now. So it’s obvious that the project might be pushed ahead for a few more weeks.
Something similar happened during the shoot of Aravinda Sametha when NTR’s father Harikrishna died in a car crash. But NTR was back on the shooting sets within two days after his demise. In fact, because of the pain he suffered, he could add more emotional depth to his character in the songs and scenes that were shot in the last schedule of the film.
The industry talk is that Mahesh should definitely take some time to overcome the grief but it will be better for him if he could report back on the sets of SSMB28 as soon as possible.
As they say, there is no bigger distraction than work. He can forget the pain of such huge losses if he immerses himself in the shoot of his next film.
The film was supposed to release on April 28, 2023. Now it might be pushed to Dussehra or Sankranthi 2024.
