It has not been many weeks since Baahubali 2. We have only now entered the fourth week. Will Telugu Film Industry get the first success after landmark success of Baahubali 2?
Keshava has opened superbly yesterday and is looking at consolidating it further today. The numbers from the first two shows are encouraging and the evening looks to be even better. It means a solid weekend is on the cards in the two Telugu states.
As far as the US is concerned, the opening is slightly better than last few weeks releases, but still, it is no way near the optimum level. Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada ($716 K) and Karthikeya ($194 K) are the top two grossers of Nikhil in the US. Keshava may in the best case become the second biggest overtaking Karthikeya. It would still be an underperformer. Overall, thanks to the good performance in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Keshava has high chances of becoming the first success after Baahubali 2.
