Ram CharanAfter the worldwide success of RRR, Ram Charan received a lot of media attention in the west, especially during the Oscar campaign. Buoyed by this, his fans and well-wishers have started projecting Charan as Global Star. They want the tag of Global Star to be associated with Ram Charan from now.

Recently, the first look poster of Ram Charan’s next Game Changer was unveiled, and even in the poster, it was written as Mega Powerstar and not Global Star.

Ram Charan might have gained some recognition post-RRR, but people are wondering if it is too soon to call Charan a global star just with one film. Whatever attention Ram Charan, or for that matter even NTR, might have gained is because of the song Naatu Naatu. If something has gone global post-RRR, then it is the brand Rajamouli.

If Ram Charan is to be called a Global Star, then his next film, Game Changer, should also garner the same collections like RRR did and also he should receive the same adulation when if and when he visits other countries with Gamechanger. But is it possible?

Ram Charan should have more films that should do equally well, critically and commercially, in the west which is very difficult. But only then would the star be eligible to get the tag of Global Star.

Charan’s fans are working overtime by hyping him as Global Star, which will create additional burden and stress on him to score as big as RRR. If he fails to do so, he only will be trolled for calling himself Global Star.
