Will comedy save Srikanth's sagging career?

After a series of flops across different genres such as mythology, action and thriller with films such as “Lucky”, “Devaraya”, “Shatruvu”, “Shadow” and “Kshatriya”, Telugu actor Meka Srikanth has pinned all hopes on forthcoming Telugu comedy “Malligadu Marriage Bureau”. He hopes it will give him a much needed a hit.

He said that audiences have loved his comedy entertainers such as ‘Vinodham’ and ‘Pelli Sandadi’. And since he is doing a full-length comedy film, he hopes it will be accepted by the audience and that will eventually yield positive output.

He also added that in the recent past he’s been busy doing a lot of action films. Therefore, the audience have gotten bored of seeing him in such films. Therefore, he feels this film will come as a welcome change for his fans

The film, which is directed by Uday Raj, features Manochitra in the lead, while comedian Brahmanandam will be essaying an important role. Srikanth will soon start shooting for yet-untitled Telugu project opposite Ram Charan Teja.
