Chiranjeevi has been trying to venture into the pan-India market for a long time now. His previous film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy got a pan-India release but it failed miserably outside Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in terms of box office collections. So, it can’t be termed a ‘pan-India’ success.
But if the latest updates are to go by, Chiranjeevi can be seriously fancying his chances of scoring a pan-India hit with his upcoming film, Chiru153 which happens to be the Telugu remake of Lucifer.
Apparently, team Chiru153 has received the green signal from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who was recently approached by the makers of the Chiranjeevi starrer for a brief yet impactful role in the film.
Reports suggest that Salman has agreed to star alongside Chiranjeevi in this political thriller. It is heard that Salman, couldn’t say no to Chiranjeevi, with whom he shares a very close rapport. So, he came on board.
If Salman really is a part of Chiru153, the canvas of the project will certainly increase multi-folds. It will also boost the box office prospects of the film and ensure considerably big openings in the northern circuit. Will Chiranjeevi’s dream of recording a pan-India box office success come true with Chiru153? If Salman is indeed a part of the project, then we would certainly be tempted to say ‘yes’.
