ChiranjeeviThe casting for God Father is continuing to be a daunting task for the team. The Malayalam original Lucifer provides the scope for many actors to be part of the remake. One of the critical parts is that of the villain, and that is still not decided.

The latest buzz in the industry is that the makers are approaching Tamil star Madhavan for the antagonist part. In the original, Vivek Oberoi essayed the role. But, will Chiranjeevi take the risk?

Well, the film industry is full of sentiments. If it’s positive, it is milked to the hilt, and when it’s the opposite, people try to avoid it as much as possible. When it comes to Madhavan, there is a negative sentiment.

Well, it should be easy to guess what the issue here is. Madhavan has so far done two films in Telugu. His first one was Savyavachi, and the second is Nishabdham. Both the films are damp squibs at the box office.

In an industry that believes heavily in positive sentiments, the casting of Madhavan would be considered a considerable risk. It is why one is wondering if Chiranjeevi will take that risk?

However, before God Father, the makers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata did try to cast Madhavan. It means considering the immense potential and star value of Madhavan; the negative sentiments are overlooked. All it needs is one movie to change fate. Could that be God Father?

Mohan Raja directs God Father. The regular shooting of the movie will commence after a small break soon. We have to wait and see if Madhavan is on board or not.
