What is usually the case is when a new film arrives the old one, be it just one week, loses some sheen. The screens are taken away, and the week-old movie comes across as the second choice. However, whenever a genuine blockbuster arrives, the scene is reversed, and that is what we are witnessing now.
The next big movie of the summer season of Telugu Film Industry is Chal Mohan Ranga starring Nithin in the lead. It had a good buzz when announced thanks to the combination of Pawan Kalyan and Nithiin, even though the former is only in production capacity. It still is the leading interest generator for the romantic entertainer which has good music and a decent trailer, but not working in its favour.
One look at the US schedule and anyone would understand what we are talking. Chal Mohan Ranga is hardly getting noticed. The shows are poorly planned, and the premieres look set to take a “dull” turn. Things could still turn around, but that would be after the talk spread outs.
The Telugu states also show a similar picture. The advances are weak across the board. The talk the movie gets becomes very crucial now. Krishna Chaitanya directs Chal Mohan Ranga based on the core story point by Trivikram Srinivas. The film hits the theatres tomorrow.
