Akhil Akkineni is trying to bounce back with Most Eligible Bachelor. Starring leggy lass Pooja Hegde, the film went on floors in 2019. The film was planned for April 2021 release, but the havoc wreaked by COVID took a backseat for MEB.
Talk has it that MEB is eyeing Dasara release. The festive season is the perfect timing for film releases which many look forward to lay their hands on due to perfect timing. Also, only Vaishnav Tej’s Kondapolam is arriving in the holiday season, while Balakrishna’s Akhanda arrival is uncertain.
With no competition in line, Dasara festive season would be the perfect date for Akhil’s comeback. And at a time when makers should grab it as a perfect opportunity, they are still busy with reshoots instead of calling it a wrap and kickstart the promotions.
The makers will be busy with the shoot of real-life celebrity couple Rahul Ravindran and Chinmayi, who will be seen alongside Akhil and Pooja. If the makers continue to dabble in more reshoots, then the release postponement is certain. If this happens, then Akhil will end up unlucky.
