After working in three back-to-back commercial entertainers, actor Vishnu Manchu, who will soon be seen in Ram Gopal Varma-directed Telugu action-drama “Rowdy”, says that the film has changed him as an actor. Most of his films so far have had a good share of comedy and romance, but all that won’t found in his forthcoming film.
He says that it’s probably for the first time he has done a film without comedy. He feel as an actor he has changed a lot with ‘Rowdy’ as it gave him the scope to perform sans commercial stereotypes. Although he agrees the film is a commercial film with a strong dose of tear-jerking moments, Ramu has extracted the best out of him in his role.
Vishnu has decided that post ‘Rowdy’, he will ensure that he will pick up roles that are contrary to each other. He has also learnt a lot as an actor from RGV and he hopes to incorporate it in his life going forward,” he added. “Rowdy” is a faction-ridden story set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema. It also features Manchu Mohan Babu, Jayasudha, Shanvi Srivastav, Kishore and Ravi Babu in important roles.
