Think about the combination of Mahesh Babu and director V.V.Vinayak. One is a stylish hero who can show class even when he is doing something mass. The other one is pure mass even when dealing with something very class. A combination of the duo is something the fans wouldn’t expect to be on cards. But by what Vinayak spoke during the audio launch of ‘Srimanthudu’, one gets doubtful.
Vinayak says he needs 100 crores to make a film with Mahesh Babu and would be doing a film with him. He adds that very soon he would tell a story which Mahesh Babu likes. A 100 Cr film with Mahesh Babu? Earlier, Vinayak failed badly with a big budget movie like ‘Badrinath’. He is a pure commercial director who takes the routine track mostly.
Vinayak’s track record of not interested in taking up experiments and his pure commercial tag are the ones which wouldn’t go with the image of Mahesh. But his stage talk on 100 Cr film with Mahesh leaves us wondering if really something is on cards. It’s very early to even guess because Mahesh’s next with Addala Srikanth is going to go on to sets very soon.
