With the election season upon us, it seems that song artists are high in demand. This is in keeping with the trend of electoral candidates to have their achievements as well as future plans expressed via the lyrical medium. As such, it has opened up plenty of opportunities for song artists such as lyricists, singers, composers as well as voice artists and they are swarming with offers from the election contenders.
Case in point is Kasarla Shyam who is a new and promising lyric writer from Tollywood who has projects like ‘Venkatadri Express’, ‘Premakatha Chitram’ and ‘Love You Bangaram’ under his name. As shyam explains, these days he is swimming with offers from politicians to write some lyrics for them hoping to get an ear with the public. Shyam has already penned songs for people like deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha and ministers Lakshmaiah, Reddy and Sridhar Babu among others and does so without a thought to the party the candidate belongs to.
