Rajamouli looks really handsome sans beard but audiences get very few chances to see him without beard because, he doesn’t shave it clean while he is busy shooting for his films. After getting accusomed to his bearded looks on sets, Rana says he couldn’t recognise Rajamouli without beard.
Well, there is one more reason for being unable to recognise Rajamouli without beard. Rana has eye-sight problem, because of which, he cannot see things far away clearly. Once, during the second schedule of ‘Baahubali’s shoot when Rajamouli came on to the sets with a clean shave, Rana couldn’t recognise him until he came nearer.
While Rana maintains that bearded look gives intensity to Rajamouli’s looks, the director tells it’s because of his laziness to do such routine work, otherwise there is no reason not to shave. He thinks only Raghavendra Rao can carry the bearded look with elan.
