Sruthi Haasan, started her second innings in Bollywood with Prabhu Deva’s Ramaiya Vastavaiya brought her enough glory followed by her critically acclaimed film D-Day irrespective of their box office performance. Sruthi’s up-coming Bollywood film ‘Welcome Back’ is sure to gain lot of importance because of it’s star cast. It is heard that few Bollywood production houses are chasing Sruthi for dates. With lot going on from Bollywood front Sruthi decided to take a temporary pause from Telugu/Tamil films. However, she says she has not completly shut the doors for South.
Two of her Telugu films will hit screens in the next few months. Ram Charan’s Yevadu will hit screens in December. Sruthi-Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram is getting ready for January’2014 release.
Sruthi is well aware about the other actress who moved to Mumabi at the cost of their South careers. The makers of Gabbar Singh-2 are trying to rope in Sruthi for sequel as she was part of Gabbar Singh1. Producer could not zero in on any Bollywood heroine so far, so the buzz is Sruthi may cast in GS-2 opposite Pawan Kalyan. But it remains to be seen if this will happen.
