Nani‘s Dasara is making all the right noises and is all set to open big at the box office. The trailer has received a very encouraging response from the audience, and the film is all set to set the big screens on fire from March 30. We had an exclusive chitchat with Nani, where he spoke extensively about Dasara.

Dasara is going to be the first pan-India film for Nani. He also visited Mumbai and celebrated Holi with a large crowd while promoting Dasara in Hindi.

When asked about what kind of response Nani expects from the Hindi market, he said, “I don’t have access to Bollywood markets like Rajamouli had with Baahubali. I can’t call someone (Karan Johar) to help me out in the Hindi market. I am doing it on my level, as per my abilities.”

He added, “I am hoping that Dasara will get a positive response from the North audience. I am positive that good word of mouth will increase the footfalls with each passing day. Just like Kantara scaled to great heights just based on great content, I am also hoping that people will connect with Dasara in a big way and this film will turn out my ID card for my future projects in Hindi.”

The film is poised to take a great opening in the US as well, going by the pre-sales. Nani said he is also hopeful that he will finally have a $2 Million grosser in the US with Dasara after a spate of underperformers in recent years.
