One of the prominent reasons that is helping Mahesh Babu increase his fan base and make them proud is the acting. It is because Mahesh Babu is a fabulous actor that he is able to attract new audience with each new film of his. Barring a few missteps at the early stage of his career the star has never done a film where his acting credentials have been questioned. One can even go on and say that he has been the only actor among his contemporary stars who has remained unscathed and added fans even with his disaster where as others were completely ridiculed making even the fans ashamed of those films. But for the first time in years he has been criticized for his last film Aagadu. The film came with a massive hype and disappointed and add to it the criticism, it is one film that fans want to forget surely. The effect has been such that even the star had to apologize for it.
With two disasters behind him and one with such an impact, the star is now coming to make amends with Srimanthudu. It is expected to erase the failure of Aagadu from the minds of fans and make them proud again. But the real question that needs to be asked here is will the acting alone be enough for them to be proud or would they be needing records too? Previously the records too were at disposal which isn’t going to be the case in near future at least. Can they be proud without records?
