There is one common thing conspicuous in all the recent promotional interviews of Sai Tej for ‘Chitralahari’ and that is mentioning the flops he had in a row. He was constantly talking about the double hat trick flops. There seems to be no need to mention the flops again and again for ‘Chitralahari’ promotions.
We agree that ‘Chitralahari‘ is about an unlucky guy who seems to be carrying the burden of a curse, i.e., failures. But, it seems too much to bring the topic of Sai Tej’s flops constantly into the conversations. The movie has decent audio and it also has received a positive response for the trailer. That means, there is a good buzz built around the movie. It’s puzzling to see the mega hero talking about the six flops in a row as if it is the need of the hour.
Maybe, he is trying to be honest but that doesn’t mean overdoing it will help the cause when it is unnecessary. On the face of it, ‘Chitralahari’ is decent as of now and very impressive. Hope, it lives up to the expectations the decent music and the trailer have earned for the movie. Only the actual content of the subject in the movie will decide its fate on 12th April 2019.
