After the fiasco of Ramayya Vasthavayya and Rabhasa NTR Jr was a much hurt man. The actor is enduring a lean patch in his career but is still not in the mode of damage control. The actor, who once reached the pinnacle and was reckoned as the front runner for the coveted chair, is clueless on what went wrong with his films and is under immense pressure, say sources. It’s not usual to see an actor from one of the illustrious families of Tollywood face criticism for his stereo-typed roles and struggle to score a hit.
The irony is that NTR has been aloof from the media and is hardly interacting with them, which eventually is costing the actor heavily. Those in the know say that NTR is paying no heed to even his well-wishers and is in fact showing aversion to meet them. The actor is gearing up to work with Puri Jagannath in his next film and it is natural that NTR is banking heavily on this film. But much to his dismay, reports have arrived that the script of the film has been modified due to various reasons, thus leaving his fans even more worried about the outcome of the film.
It’s high time that the actor re-invents himself and starts working with sensible directors like Trivikram or Sukumar who carved a niche in designing author backed roles to get into the groove.
