Trivikram Srinivas is among the Top-3 directors of Tollywood in terms of success rate. In recent times, he has come under attack on social media for setting up projects for Pawan Kalyan.
He is involved in Vakeel Saab, Bheemla Nayak, and now #PKSDT. He is giving screenplay and dialogues for #PKSDT. Every now and then, we see Trivikram criticized for setting up projects and associating himself with other films.
Trivikram is also blamed in case such projects are not received well by the audience.
He is being criticized for doing things and getting involved in projects out of his direction radar.
Trivikram understands Pawan Kalyan well and pitches projects that will suit Pawan Kalyan’s current mindset and schedules. And at the end of the day, the final decision is always with Pawan Kalyan.
It is not like Trivikram micromanages those films on sets so that he takes the blame for their failure.
But then, this is criticism is totally unfair. For an instance, Sukumar is also doing similar things with his Sukumar Writings. He is setting up projects and is also involved in the writing of those projects just like Trivikram.
But we barely see anybody criticizing Sukumar. Sukumar Writings’ latest venture – 18 Pages failed at the box office. The movie is written by Sukumar. We do not see anybody taunting Sukumar.
This special and unfair treatment is reserved only for Trivikram even though the director keeps himself non-controversial.
