Ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who’s been away from Telugu cinema for a while, is expected to return to the industry with two films soon. I know he recently made KSD Appalaraju in Telugu, but it was so bad that I wouldn’t call it his comeback film.
According to trade insiders, RGV is expected to make a women centric and a horror-thriller film in Telugu. One is not sure when he is likely to start working on these projects, but known for the pace at which he works, he can surprise all of us by making an announcement any day from now. So, lets eagerly await the announcement.
Ramu has made some pathbreaking films in Telugu such as Shiva, Kshana Kshanam and Govinda Govinda. We badly want him to make good Telugu films for us, don’t we? Also with the current scenario in state it’s extremely difficult to make a film on any controversial topic, I believe he is the only bold film maker who can still attempt controversial subjects with out worrying about the result of the film.
After all, he is an andhrite, and therefore, he always has a soft corner in our hearts.
